When you tithe, you’re trusting God with your finances.
Tithing is a biblical principle. God calls us to give the first 10% of our income back to Him. We’ve seen God provide abundantly in our church, and we know He will provide abundantly for you and your family when you put Him first in your finances. In fact, it’s the one area in the Bible where God tells you to test Him.

There is a war going on for your heart. As you look at your life, what is first in your life? Matthew 6:33 says, “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” God wants to be first. He wants us to trust Him with the first 10%. He will take care of the rest. All we have to do is honor God with what we have.
Tithing is actually a test of our heart. Every time we get paid, we are taking a test on whether we will honor God with 10% of our income or not. It isn’t about the money so much as it’s about trusting God.
Who owns your money? The truth is, we brought nothing into this world and we can’t take anything with us. God owns it all and we are stewards of God’s resources. 1 Chronicles 29:14 confirms this revelation.
