Make the most of every moment

Thrive Kids Online Experience

In Thrive Kids, we are dedicated to partnering with parents to engage kids and empower families to make the most of every moment.

Since we understand that it takes a village, your family is our priority. Through age-specific and relevant lessons, activities, and small groups, your children are consistently guided to come alive in their relationship with Christ. With resources at every phase and a small-group leader that champions your family, you will be empowered to parent intentionally. Like you, we don’t want your child’s greatest influence to be the world. Don’t miss this opportunity for your whole family to be mobilized and experience its greatest potential.

Engaged Kids

Our classroom environments, lessons, and activities are intentionally built to be age-appropriate and developmentally-relevant for every child at every phase. They will be engaged as they learn biblical truths and real-life application. All of our classroom environments incorporate the most brilliant family strategy we know of, the reThink Group’s Orange curriculum, to make a difference that’s going to last a lifetime.

Safety at Discovery Park

We aim for a smooth process that will ensure your child’s safety on Sundays. All Thrive Kids volunteers pass a background check and are thoroughly trained. The code system that we use for family check-in verifies that you are the only one that can pick-up your child from class on Sundays.

As we head over to Discovery Park, we are taking some extra measures.
  • Every classroom will have a secure perimeter to keep children within clear boundaries.
  • Children will be in classrooms separated by three age groups.
    • Babies and Toddlers
    • 3s through Kindies
    • 1st through 5th grade
  • Teachers will be prevalent and have a close eye on your child(ren).
  • The 1st through 5th classroom will be on the west side lot to allow for more room amongst kiddos.
  • Our new check-in system will also help provide a live roster of kids that are checked-in for an even more secure roll call throughout the experience.
  • There will be a person with a sole role of keeping a close eye on the safety and whereabouts of kids in the area.

Empowered Families

As part of your family circle, your child’s small group leader desires to champion your family through every phase. The Thrive Kids small group leaders want to come alongside your child and your family to carry the Sunday lessons throughout the week. We will equip you with the tools we use Sunday so you can engage into what your child is learning and know exactly how to continue the conversation at home. Each week you have access to the interactive Family Resource Wall in the Thrive Kids hallway. From prayer calendars, to encouragement cards, to parent discussion guides, family discovery packs, and more, you will find a wide variety of free family resources that you can take along with you. We are committed to empowering your family because we believe that two combined influences (Thrive Kids + your family) will make the greatest impact.

Visit the Thrive Kids Instagram page @iamthrivekids for encouragement, creative family ideas, prayer and discussion cues, and curriculum links throughout the week.

What to Expect

On your first visit, look for the yellow Thrive Kids tent. You’ll be greeted by a Welcome Team member eager to meet your family. They will assist you with your VIP Family Check-In and be with you every step of the way, so feel free to ask any questions! After checking in, the Welcome Team member will walk with you to your child’s room, where a Thrive Kids leader will be excited to meet and welcome your family.

How Family Check-In Works

Because safety is our priority, we will need some information at VIP Family Check-In at the Thrive Kids tent (including: child’s name, birthday, family address, phone number and any special instructions, i.e. allergies, etc.). During your first visit, the Welcome Team member will enter your safety information into our secure system. The next time you join us, you can simply enter in your last name on your own at any available station.

Upon check-in, your child will receive a name-tag that includes their age/grade, any special instructions, and an identification code. You will receive a matching identification code sticker. After the experience, you’ll show the Thrive Kids teacher your matching tag for your child to be released from his/her room. If for any reason you are needed during the experience, this code will be displayed on the screens in the main experience to notify you.

If your family will be joining us for the first time, you can speed up your Thrive Kids VIP check-in by bringing this form with you:
