We are preparing to gift another round of Thrive Backpacks to Children’s Hospital Colorado at their main campus and expanding to the Highlands Ranch location as we partner to stay on the solution side of teen suicide in our city. We would love for you to join us at Thrive Church and help us pack these Thrive Backpacks.
We have a passion for parents and families. Today, we see the dynamics of families look different in so many ways. For the families who find themselves in a situation where they do not have the support of both spouses, we will show them that they have someone in their corner, someone who is going to come alongside them and bring support and love in an extravagant way. Life was never meant to be lived alone, in any circumstance or any season.Ā
We are in thisĀ together. Life comes with so many twists and turns, some expected and some very unexpected. When the unexpected comes, we will come alongside those who need community, family and faith.Ā
Teen suicide and mental health crisis have had an upward trend for years. It is more important now than ever that we work with our school systems, medical facilities and local communities to not only bring awareness but bringĀ change. It is of the highest priority that we create healthy atmospheres and genuine God-centered relationships that prevent suicidal actions at the root, love those individuals who have made suicidal attempts and resource those individuals and their families to thrive with new life in Christ, not only in their mental health, but in their unique God-given purpose.Ā
Join us on June 19th at 9:30AM as we partner with the Denver Dream Center to adopt-a-block and bless our city with essential items that will not only meet tangible needs but will extend hope and healing in a graspable way. This is a day where your whole family can be on mission in the Kingdom of God.
Here is what you can expect on June 19th: Once we arrive at the given location we will help to package essential items before we rally together as a team. We will then travel to a near location – a neighborhood in need. There we will work as a team to distribute those items, pray with individuals and simply be the hands and feet of Jesus.
